And The Winners….The Same as Two Weeks Ago!

The Screen Actors Guild Awards were held last night in LA. Just one question, can we get an award show on the East Coast, please that’s not hosted by MTV? Thanks! Anyway, in the Motion Picture categories, there weren’t any surprises. Heck I though I had looked at the Golden Globe list. Here is the list from the SAG Awards:

A Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture — The Dark Knight

A Male Actor in a Leading Role — Sean Penn (Milk)

A Female Actor in a Leading Role — Meryl Streep (Doubt)

A Male Actor in a Supporting Role — Heath Ledger (The Dark Knight)

A Female Actor in a Supporting Role — Kate Winslet (The Reader)

If the SAG Awards and the Golden Globe Awards are any indication who will win the Oscars, then this isn’t going to be an exciting year. As much as I want Viola Davis or Taraji P. Henson to win, I must say the odds aren’t looking good. Kate Winslet won at both award shows. I’m a little scared! I really want there to be a BIG upset at the Oscars. Something that everyone will be taking about for weeks! I’m waiting on them to except my application so that I can make that happen! LOL
